Black Swan House in Gdańsk's Old Town is often praised for its excellent location right on the main street, placing guests conveniently close to attractions and the train station. Many find the rooms modern, clean, and spacious, some featuring tea kettles with a good selection of teas and even offering nice city center views. Acceptable Stay, Some Issues

poor isolation inadequate curtains
The location proved very central, placing all the tourist spots, restaurants, and bars conveniently nearby.
The room lacked proper sound isolation. It was difficult to sleep. The curtains did not adequately cover the windows, failing to block out light effectively.

Fantastic Location and Great Service

quick response clear instruction modern room daily cleaning
The staff responded to me quickly when I had questions. Clear instructions made everything easy and convenient. My room was modern and clean. It really had everything I needed. I also appreciated the daily cleaning service that kept the room refreshed.
The stairs to the upper floors were a bit steep without an elevator.

a satisfactory stay

central location coffee facilities complimentary water small room weak shower remote access
the location was central. a coffee shop was less than a minute away. the room provided complimentary water upon my arrival. it also included tea and coffee making facilities, which i found useful.
the room i booked was smaller than what the pictures suggested. the shower lacked sufficient pressure (which was a bit of a letdown). i prefer a staffed reception, but this hotel operates with remote access only.
